Biography
Daan joined in 2013 as Terravek's first product manager and became Chief Product Officer in 2022. He owns the product portfolio — ORBIS, GRIDSCAN, TIDEWATCH, AGRISENSE, FIELDKIT and ATLAS — and the roadmap that is currently consolidating all of them onto one tasking and delivery fabric.
He ran the end-of-life of TerraScan in 2014 and treats it as the template for how Terravek retires things: eighteen months' notice, a migration tool, and a named engineer per customer.
He works in the same room as the ORBIS Core team on Tuesdays and Thursdays and is sceptical of roadmaps that extend past four quarters.
