Company

Where is Terravek based?

Terravek's global headquarters is in Delft, the Netherlands, at Zuidpoortlaan 118. We have offices in München, Tallinn, Bristol, Toulouse, Singapore, Denver and Nairobi, plus a ground station in northern Sweden and a calibration range at Vollenhove Polder.

How large is Terravek?

742 employees as of 31 December 2025, across eight countries. Revenue in FY2025 was €148.6M.

Is Terravek publicly listed?

No. Terravek Systems N.V. is privately held. The founders hold 34.2%, with institutional investors Nordkap Ventures and Meridiaan Groeifonds holding 21.8% and 14.5% respectively, and an employee share plan holding 9.1%.

Does Terravek work on defence or military programmes?

No. Terravek's products are sold for civil applications only. Every acquisition request is screened against our dual-use policy, which is reviewed by the General Counsel and the Chief Scientific Officer. We have declined contracts on this basis and expect to again.

Products

Can I try the platform before buying?

Yes. The ATLAS Sandbox tier is free and serves a fixed sample catalogue — enough to evaluate the API and to teach with. For an evaluation against your own area of interest, contact sales@terravek.com and we will arrange a scoped proof of concept.

Do you sell the satellites?

No. Terravek does not own or operate satellites. We task capacity from partner constellations, design and build the hyperspectral payloads that some of them carry, operate our own ground station, and process the results. We also build FIELDKIT in-situ hardware.

What happened to TerraScan?

TerraScan reached end of sale in November 2013 and end of support on 31 December 2014. All customers were migrated to ORBIS 2. The final documentation set and the TS2ORB migration tool remain available read-only at legacy.terravek.com.

Can TIDEWATCH bathymetry be used for navigation?

No. Satellite-derived bathymetry is a planning product, not an IHO-compliant hydrographic survey. It must not be used for navigation. This is stated in the product documentation and in the metadata of every delivery.

Buying

How is ORBIS Cloud priced?

Monthly, on area of interest under management measured in km², plus any tasked acquisitions in the period. There is no per-seat charge. Contact sales@terravek.com for a quotation.

Do you sell through partners?

Yes. Terravek has resellers and systems integrators in most of our markets. See the partners page, or contact partners@terravek.com.

Support

How do I raise a support case?

Through the ORBIS Cloud console, or by emailing support@terravek.com. Severity-1 incidents on Gold and Platinum tiers have a telephone path given in your service agreement. Platform status is published at status.terravek.com.

What are your support hours?

Follow-the-sun from Singapore, Delft and Denver. Coverage depends on your tier: Bronze is business hours, Platinum is 24/7. See the support page for full service levels.

Security

How do I report a security vulnerability?

Email security@terravek.com. Our disclosure policy, scope and PGP key are at /.well-known/security.txt. We acknowledge within 72 hours and do not require you to sign anything before reporting.

Which security certifications do you hold?

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 27017:2015 for ORBIS Cloud, ATLAS and corporate IT, plus SOC 2 Type II, TISAX AL2 (München) and Cyber Essentials Plus (Bristol). Certificates are available on request from compliance@terravek.com.

Where is my data stored?

In the EU. ORBIS Cloud runs in eu-nl-1 (Amsterdam) and eu-de-1 (Frankfurt). Your tenancy is pinned to one primary region and backed up to the other. Data does not leave the EU in normal operation.

Careers

Do you sponsor visas?

In the Netherlands, yes — Terravek is a recognised sponsor for the highly skilled migrant scheme. In other locations it varies; the job advertisement will say. We do not sponsor for internships.

When does the Graduate Programme open?
