What that means

• The company is invented. There is no Terravek Systems N.V. The Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number, LEI and other registration identifiers are fabricated and do not correspond to any registered entity.
• The people are invented. All 100 individuals named on this site — the executive board, the supervisory board, every engineer, scientist and intern — are fictional characters. Their photographs are generated placeholders, not photographs of real people. Any match to a real person's name is coincidental and unintended.
• The customers and partners are invented. Every organisation named as a customer, partner, investor, university, auditor or certification body is fictional. External links use the reserved .example domain.
• The documents are invented. The annual reports, financial figures, certifications, audit findings, case studies and price lists are fabricated. They are not financial statements of any real business and must not be relied upon.
• The contact details do not work. No e-mail address on this site receives mail. Telephone numbers use ranges reserved for fiction, or are unallocated. Postal addresses are invented.
• The infrastructure is invented. All IP addresses come from the RFC 5737 documentation ranges and route nowhere.

Why it exists

Teaching reconnaissance well requires a realistic target. Practising against a real company without authorisation is unlawful in most jurisdictions and unethical in all of them, and deliberately vulnerable practice applications teach exploitation rather than intelligence gathering.

This site fills that gap. It is built to leak the kind of information a real organisation of this size leaks without noticing — staff names and reporting lines, an e-mail naming convention, telephone extensions, document metadata, image EXIF, internal hostnames and project code names — so that students can practise finding it, and then discuss what an organisation should do about it.

What it deliberately does not contain

There are no credentials anywhere on this site: no passwords, API keys, tokens, private keys, certificates or password hashes. There is no exploitable code, no database, no authentication to bypass and no file upload. The site simulates information leakage, not vulnerability. An automated check runs over the whole site on every build and fails it if anything resembling a credential appears.

If you arrived here by accident

You may have found this site in a search engine while looking for a real supplier, a real person, or a real document. It is not one. Please do not cite anything here as fact, quote its figures, or attempt to contact anyone named on it.

If you believe any content here genuinely conflicts with a real organisation or a real person — for instance if an invented name matches yours — please get in touch and it will be changed promptly. That is a change we will always make, and we would rather hear about it.

The generator, datasets and documentation behind this site are available for other educators to use and adapt. If you deploy your own copy, please keep a disclaimer of this kind in place, and please do not host it at a domain that could be mistaken for a real trading business.
