Bristol rail corridor analytics firm joins for £9.4M, forming Terravek's UK office.
Terravek Systems N.V. has completed the acquisition of Cardinal Grid Ltd, a 71-person rail corridor analytics company based in Bristol, for £9.4M.
Cardinal Grid becomes Terravek UK Ltd and forms the core of the group's rail practice. The Bristol office and team are retained in place.
Owen Radcliffe joins Terravek as General Counsel and Gerald Pemberton joins the Supervisory Board.
Terravek Systems N.V. is a privately held Earth observation and geospatial analytics company founded in Delft, the Netherlands, in 2007. It employs 742 people across eight countries and reported revenue of €148.6M in FY2025. Terravek operates the ORBIS platform and the GRIDSCAN, TIDEWATCH and AGRISENSE applications, manufactures FIELDKIT in-situ sensors, and operates a ground station at Svalgrund, Sweden.
