Terravek publishes gender pay gap figures for every country we operate in, regardless of local reporting thresholds. Most of our entities are below the threshold that would require it.
Group mean gap: 8.1%, down from 9.4% last year. Median gap: 6.2%, down from 7.0%. Both moving in the right direction and both still meaningfully above zero.
The driver is structural and familiar: our engineering and space systems functions pay more than our support and operations functions, and they have a different gender composition. Pay for the same role at the same level is within 1.2% across the group, which is the number people usually assume the gap measures and does not.
The figure that got worse: the proportion of women in the top pay quartile fell from 29% to 27%, because of two senior departures and a hiring round that went badly on this measure. That is a real regression and it is not explained away by a small sample.
What we are doing: the returner programme continues, the promotion panel composition rules are now enforced rather than encouraged, and every senior hiring round reports its shortlist composition to the Executive Board before offer stage.
Full figures by country and quartile are in the sustainability report.
