The Terravek Graduate Programme started in 2018 with nine people in Delft. It now takes 18–24 a year across five countries. Ninety-four people have been through it and seventy-one are still with the company.

Four six-month rotations remains the right structure. Two is too few to see the shape of the company; six-month blocks are long enough to ship something you are accountable for. Shorter rotations produce tourists.

The mentor being separate from the rotation manager is the second thing we got right, though we got it right by accident. A graduate needs someone to be honest with who is not writing their performance review.

What we got wrong initially: we assigned final placements based on business need rather than on preference, and lost four people in the 2019 cohort within eighteen months. We now let graduates rank their preferences and match against need, and we say clearly in the offer that this is how it works.

The 2027 intake is open now and closes on 30 November 2026. Salary is €42,000 and it is identical across every track, which we publish because pay opacity at graduate level is indefensible.
