ORBIS 4 is released, introducing inference on partner satellite payloads and on FIELDKIT nodes. Screening models select which data to downlink rather than transferring full hyperspectral cubes, substantially reducing bandwidth requirements for high-revisit monitoring.
On-board models are restricted to high-recall screening and do not make analytical determinations. Terravek has published the design rationale and the model cards for all on-board models.
ORBIS 4 also introduces the unified tasking fabric that will be extended across the application portfolio through 2026.
