Terravek's own X-band downlink node cuts European delivery latency to under 90 minutes.
Terravek's ground segment node at Svalgrund in Norrbotten County, Sweden, has completed commissioning and entered operational service.
The unstaffed site comprises two 7.3 m X-band antennas and an S-band TT&C chain, operated remotely from Terravek's mission operations room in Toulouse. It reduces median delivery latency for European customers to under 90 minutes.
The station was announced at Terravek Summit 2024 and represents the largest capital investment in the company's history.
