About the team
Terravek Labs hosts 6–10 MSc thesis students a year, jointly supervised with DIAG, IOSS, BTU and Hanseatic University. Topics are proposed by Labs and negotiated with your supervisor.
What you will do
- Joint supervision by a Terravek Labs scientist and your university supervisor
- A defined research question with access to Terravek data and compute
- Support to publish where the work merits it
What we are looking for
- Enrolled in an MSc programme with a thesis component
- Your university supervisor willing to co-supervise
- Available for 6–9 months starting between January and September 2027
Skills and technologies
These are the things we cannot train quickly. Everything else we can.
- MSc candidate in geomatics, physics, computer science or environmental science
Useful, not required
- Published or presented prior work
- Programming in Python
