About the team
The Photonwerk optics bench in München designs, assembles and characterises the hyperspectral line scanners Terravek flies. It is a small team with real hardware and a clean room.
What you will do
- Design and tolerance optical subsystems for hyperspectral line scanners
- Support assembly, alignment and environmental test campaigns
- Contribute to the calibration uncertainty budget with the Toulouse team
- Work with suppliers on custom optical components
What we are looking for
- Degree in optical engineering, physics or equivalent
- Three or more years of practical optical design with hardware you have seen built
- Comfortable in a lab as well as in front of a simulation
- English required; German helpful
