We ran the first Terravek Summit last week in our own building, which was ambitious for 340 attendees and will not be repeated — next year we are moving to the Delft Congrescentrum.
Three themes came up repeatedly. First: customers want fewer, longer time series rather than more sensors. The value of a decade of comparable Stadtwerke Oberpfalz surveys was the single most-cited example in the room.
Second: nearly everyone is struggling to get Earth observation outputs into the systems where decisions actually get made. Delivering a beautiful GeoPackage to someone whose workflow lives in an asset management system is a partial solution at best. This is the strongest signal we have had yet for investing in integration.
Third: people want to know how wrong the numbers might be. Every session that touched on uncertainty ran over time.
