Owen Radcliffe

Biography

Owen joined as part of the Cardinal Grid acquisition, having been that company's general counsel, and took the group role in 2022. He covers corporate governance, commercial contracting, IP, export control screening and the company secretarial function for all eight entities.

He is the escalation point for Terravek's dual-use review — the process that decides whether a given imaging request can be accepted — and works with the Chief Scientific Officer on it. He also owns the supplier terms that the procurement team applies.

He is not the Data Protection Officer; that role is held independently by Marijke Ottevanger, which he considers a feature rather than an inconvenience.
