Élodie Marchand
Chief Scientific Officer
Biography
Élodie established the Toulouse office in 2015 and founded Terravek Labs in 2018. She sets the research agenda, owns the publication policy, and decides what moves from Labs into product.
Her own field is atmospheric correction and radiometric traceability — the unglamorous discipline that determines whether two images taken six months apart can honestly be compared. The Vollenhove Polder calibration range exists largely because she insisted on it.
She has 48 peer-reviewed publications, co-supervises PhD candidates at IOSS and DIAG, and chairs Terravek's research ethics review, which vets every project for dual-use and privacy risk before it starts.
